That’s right, I’m PHIDEAUX, I think that’s French for “FIDO”. I am around 4 years old and have an Apricote Dilute Brushcoat. I was very thin and could barely see but the great FSPR people did whatever it took to help me get better and now I am ready to find a new forever home. No more street life for a sweet boy like me.

Phideaux was a stray in Miami and trying to make it day to day. As a result, he was thin and generally uncared for. He has had eye surgery and has gained weight so is now ready for a new furever home.

Pepper is a pretty little girl with a very nice coat. She is quite playful and very much a puppy.  We are learning to put our shoes up.  There have been no accidents at all in the house.  Pepper can be put in the crate with a minimum of fuss and we are working on crate training in case she does  need surgery.    Pepper is dog and people friendly.  She shows an interest in the neighborhood cats.  I suspect she would like to chase them.  This is a gentle, sweet little girl that loves attention.  She follows us from room to room.  Pepper has the charming habit of leaning against our legs as she gets petted.  Pepper would make someone an excellent family pet. Hi I’m Katie.  I am a sweet cute mini Shar-Pei all the way from Tennessee.  I recently had puppies and my owner had to give me up because they moved into an apartment, which didn’t allow dogs.  Thanks to the Florida Shar-Pei Rescue volunteers for bringing me to Florida.  I love my new foster family, but can’t wait to have a forever family of my very own.  My foster family has 3 children (9, 11, 13 year olds) whom I enjoy playing with and laying next to while they do homework.  We also love to watch a good movie and cuddle up on the couch.  They love to pet me because they say I have such a soft coat.  As for the furry Shar Pei guy they have, boy is he funny looking…just kidding.  Him and I play throughout the day.  He shares all his toys and bones with me and he is always up for a game of “catch me if you can”.  His bones are delicious, my foster mom realized how much I love to chew bones and has purchased some for me.  At night I share the bed with my foster mom and dad as well as the furry guy they call Taz.  I’m not very big so I don’t take up much room on the bed.  I also love going on long walks and smelling all the new scents.  At the present time I am still a little unsure about certain situations such as the door bell ringing, someone walking into my bedroom, and hearing noises from outside and I will react to these uncertainities with my big dog bark.  I am here waiting for you to make the best decision of your life, ME.   Love, Katie

Hi, everyone! I am so glad I found the nice people at FSPR…. Well, I guess, they actually found me. 😉

I was in doggy jail when the people who had adopted me from doggy jail decided they didn’t want to keep me anymore. A nice lady from FSPR came to pick me up from the doggy jail and I was so happy to see her. The people at the doggy jail were nice to me and let me stay there for a long time but it just wasn’t a home of my own. I am still looking for my forever home. Maybe that’s at your place? I’d make a very Merry Christmas present with a big red bow and everything if you want.

I went to see the doctor today and I am a very healthy girl except for this thing called a cherry on one of my eyes. The doctor said he can take that off and then I will be ready to go to my forever home. I have already had all of my shots, I am spayed and microchipped, whatever that is, and my foster mom was so excited to find out I am heartworm negative. That must be a good thing.

Anyway, I would love to come live with you. I am a good girl who loves to run and play, if you have a fenced yard that would be awesome for me. I get along good with my foster shar-pei sisters and brother and I really like the medium-sized human girl that lives at my foster house, too. Foster mom and dad are really great and are taking good care of me but I really want a home and family of my own. Hey there, my name is Harrison.  I am told that I was named after the famous actor Harrison Ford because I reminded my foster mom of the character Indiana Jones.  It is quite fitting for I am always eager for a new adventure and go full charge in that direction.  There are also other charter traits that I resemble him in, such as:  I am very handsome and the ladies adore my sweet innocence, and are very quick to accommodate my every desire for rubbing;   I get very excited when Mom takes me for walks that I forget my strength and that Mom is on the other end of the leash…but she is helping me understand the importance of control; I can sometimes be stubborn and want my way, but my foster siblings are also teaching me about sharing – especially Mom’s attention.   I am thankful for the people in the rescue that saved me and I look forward to meeting that perfect family to call my own.
