Hi my name is Keyla. My family lost their job and had to put me in doggy jail. I was there for a few weeks and lost some of my beautiful chocolate hair. Thank goodness for the Florida Chinese Shari-Pei Rescue volunteers who saved me from doggy jail and found a loving foster family. My foster family loves me and says I am so well trained. I walk great on a leash, without pulling your arms off. I know to do my business outside and not on my foster families floor. When my family is in a rush I can be let outside without a leash. Even when bribed with treats, I won’t get on the furniture. I will sit and shake for treats. I am very friendly and obedient to others.
I live with another fury four legged Shari-Pei and he is a slob and will get on all the furniture. Him and I have our understanding that I am the Alpha dog (don’t tell him though). I like to play with him but I could live without him. Sometimes I just wish it was my foster family and me, so I could get all the attention. My foster mom says I am a special little girl who deserves lots of love.

My foster family has 3 of the 2 legged humans, who never sit still. They all love me and give me lots of attention. At night there is always a fight on whose room I get to sleep in. Their ages, in human years are 8, 11, and 13. They have lots of friends that come over and I greet them with my tail wagging frantically.
