Hi everyone-

My name is Maggie (short for Magnolia). I was found wandering around Miami and since I had no one to care for me I got into a bunch of fleas and they ate up a LOT of my fur and made my skin red and itchy. Some people came by and picked me up. They took me to a place called a shelter. At least I was not on the street anymore! The best part is that someone came to see me from a shar-pei rescue and they took me home with them to start getting me better. I am starting to get my fur back and my skin doesn’t bleed anymore from scratching. My foster Dad takes me for long walks everyday and I have met all the people in the neighborhood. I like to play and I really like being with people a lot. My foster parents  are  promising me my very own home as soon as I am better. Wow……Good food and good friends….this is the best!
