About this Pei :
Robi is a sweet young female who needs a lot of medical attention. She is loved by her vets and allows them to accomplish the many tests that we hope will give her a better life. Please stay tuned and check the website or our Facebook for updates.

UPDATE:
“Robi” had 4 biopsies completed yesterday and it could be a week before we have any results. She seems to be a bit more active and the open wound on her back has dried up. She is on several drugs now including a steroid which will hopefully help her short-term but the source of all of these growths is the goal. She has a very sweet personality and the vets have all fallen In love with her. She is being seen by specialists at the UF vet school and we remain hopeful that this is not a cancer situation. She is eating well and loves going for a walk. We will keep updating with photos of her and updates on her treatments.
Keep good thoughts for her…

UPDATE 12/13/21:
The blood work that was done about 10 days ago did not reveal a specific irritant or cause for her anomalies. Therefore,  the pathologist is running a different panel to see if we can get more specific info. She continues to eat well but she displays low energy and a general lack of interest in her surroundings. She will be seen by our vet again this week and hopefully, there might be something positive to report. Thanks for the kind thoughts coming her way.
