About this Pei : 
Mia came into rescue from Bay County where she had been taken as a stray following Hurricane Michael. She is a pretty blonde with features that suggest that she is mixed with yellow lab. She presents with many sharpei features such as black on her tongue, wrinkles on her face and small ears. She is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. She loves to go for long walks. Initially, she was very shy around people, but she warms up to folks once she learns to trust them.  She would do best in a home without other animals, and one with a fenced-in area for her to run.
