Update: 8-24-23:
“Beau” has become one of the most amazing dogs! As you know , he had to be trapped. He was found running with a small dog both looking for food and both were thin. Beau was very frightened and when we got him to our home it was clear that food was the main drive for Beau. As days went by, he became more comfortable and his personality started to emerge. He is very playful and carries all of his stuffy toys out side with him. He likes to “hide” them in the yard and somehow assumes that I will not see an orange stuffed lobster, a reindeer, octopus, hedgehog, etc. etc. lurking in our yard!!!  Beau is very loving and friendly and also a very good-looking shar-pei!! He is very playful and would be a wonderful companion as he loves giving kisses and being close……a very special Pei.

About this Pei : 
Beau came to us as a stray that was found wandering near Sanford Fl. Because of two good samaritans who spent 3 weeks tracking him and finally trapping him, he now has the chance to get care and love.

He is a quiet dog but is responding to attention, petting, good food and is now wagging his tail!!

He has seen our vet and got his ears cleaned (did not even flinch!). He is a good-looking dog, is receptive to being petted, and is eating well.
